Fannie Mae's sweeping changes (as they are calling them) go into effect Sept. 1, 2010 and there is a revision to the URAR form.
Vicki Gill, reviews appraisals for Fannie Mae and stated her office receives about 9,000 appraisals a month for review.
Of that, approx. 28%-32% are fraudulent.
The Appraisal Institute quoted now having 532 international members. China is the fastest growing international sector.
